The 100th Merchiston Cubs meet every Friday evening, in Viewforth Church, Bruntsfield. At present the pack has 22 boys, but this number changes frequently as older boys go on to Scouts, and younger boys move up from Beavers.

As part of being a Cub, the boys work towards their Awards and Badges most Friday evenings,and recently, along with the help of parents, the Cubs have completed their Local Historian, Map Reading and Writers badges.

The Pack also visits local areas of interest, and have an annual indoor camp in November.

The Pack competes in both District and Area competitions. We came a respectable 4th in the district swimming competition held in February, and an even better 1st in the district football competition.

There are also one and two-night camps, "Sausage Sizzles", District Days and other events that the Cubs take part in, with activities such as climbing, orienteering, T-shirt printing, and of course many games, that they can join in with.
