City of Edinburgh Scouts is always glad to have new members in any section.

Beavers are aged 6 to 8
Cubs are aged 8 to 10½
Scouts are aged 10½ to 15

The Young Leader scheme allows people aged 16 to 18 to train as leaders, and adult leaders must be 18 or over.

The Scout association welcomes girls into any section, although not all packs/troops are mixed. For details of packs/troops which accept girls, see below.
